25 years of IT Consultancy, something worth shouting about? Arguably yes, arguably no. We have been doing effectively the same thing, to the same high standards we set out to do in 1986. To help clients make the right decisions in IT. We have added a few services since then as the market has grown and changed, but have done this simply to adapt. The goals have never changed.
So we asked ourselves the questions, ”if we are going to shout about 25 years, then who to? And how loud?” The answer seemed explicitly rhetorical and in two parts. 1) Whoever would listen. 2) Whoever might care. Luckily for CCL a lot of people fit into either one of those camps. In fact, if you are reading this now, then you are probably one of them.
So what does 25 years mean? A lot of:
- IT / Business / Strategic knowledge
- Methodology – tried & tested
- Experience – ‘Been there, done that'
- Long and powerful relationships
- Great reference stories
Not many:
- Failures, we wouldn’t be here now if there were too many of those.
- Dissatisfied Customers – CCL uses a ‘fixed scope – fixed price’ approach in proposals that eliminates subjectivity so clients know exactly what to expect.
When we get to 50 years in the business we will be shouting an awful lot louder and to a much larger audience.
