Our Methodology

The recruitment methodology adopted is comparable in cost to that of database driven recruitment agencies, whilst offering a significantly greater degree of role specification, candidate assessment and matching to the client's requirements.

CCL has on many occasions successfully undertaken recruitment projects for its clients encompassing a wide range of roles (through to Board Level appointments) within sales, operations and IT. CCL's approach is comprehensive and very much focused upon the recruitment of quality candidates that are matched closely to our client's requirements (embracing both experience and personal characteristics). The recruitment methodology to be adopted is comparable in cost to that of database driven recruitment agencies whilst offering a significantly greater degree of role specification, candidate assessment and matching to the client's precise requirements.

Typical Specialist Recruitment Project

The objectives of a typical Specialist Recruitment Project would be as follows:

  • The determination of a comprehensive job profile (i.e. role, responsibilities and key performance indicators) to include a personal specification incorporating experience, personal characteristics, minimum skills and personality requirements, work style, age profile etc
  • Draft and place a high impact advertisement in either a leading relevant publication or on a high activity recruitment web site
  • Review and consider candidates from CCL's candidate database, contact appropriate individuals and establish current availability/details etc
  • Create a detailed interview questionnaire for initial telephone screening
  • Telephone interviews and screening of candidates to assess their suitability for interview
  • Create a detailed interview questionnaire incorporating all aspects of the role requirements, background, experience, personality, work style etc
  • Conduct initial interviews
  • Prepare a shortlist of candidates for interview
  • Prepare a summary report for each candidate highlighting their background, experience etc and incorporating in detail the candidates responses to all interview questions
