CCL-Forensics contributes to high-profile magazine article

CCL-Forensics is pleased to have been involved in PCPro magazine's recent article, "CSI Smartphone".

Total Quality Manager and experienced mobile phone analyst, Phil Ridley, gave an interview to the magazine, about types of data and evidence which can be stored in a smartphone.

The article has been published in the August edition (on the shelves mid-June), and details a number of aspects of smartphone forensics, including the possibility of recovering location data.

The magazine is available from normal news outlets.

For more information about smartphone forensics and how it can be used in your case, please contact CCL-Forensics on 01789 261200.

CCL-Forensics takes to the stage at Digital Forensics Conference

CCL-Forensics will be presenting at the forthcoming computer and mobile phone forensics conference organised by "The Investigator" Magazine.

The event, in West Yorkshire will be attended by investigators and digital forensic practitioners from across the UK.

Forensic Manager Mark Larson will be discussing the best ways to get the most out of digital investigations - as well as detailing the more out-of-the-ordinary places where evidence may be found in mobile phones.

The conference takes place on 22nd June.  For more information, please contact us.

CCL-Forensics at Trading Standards conference

CCL-Forensics will be attending the Consumer Affairs and Trading Standards Conference and Exhibition next week in Bournemouth.
The conference will be attended by Trading Standards Officials from across the UK, as well as large corporate brands who will be sharing techniques on brand protection and intellectual property theft.

CCL-Forensics will be demonstrating the benefits of its in-house-designed tools and techniques to extract more digital evidence from more devices, as well as showing how Trading Standards can benefit from cost-effective analysis, often to short timescales, on exhibits seized as part of investigations.

Having worked with Trading Standards for a number of years, CCL-Forensics understands the need to extract additional evidence (to that supported by off-the-shelf tools) while working within budgetary constraints. The conference runs from 21st-23rd June, and if you are attending, we would be delighted to welcome you on stand C5.
